Wanganui is blessed with a mighty, flourishing river and a wonderful, wide coast.
Locals and tourists take a long walk along the shores to reflect, relax, walk their dogs and spend time with family. The Castlecliff beach is one of the few NZ beaches that allow pets.
Castlecliff beach is located 5 km from Aotea Motor Lodge, a quick drive from the city.
