Wanganui Accommodation Aotea Motor Lodge

Here are some online reviews we have received from customers around the globe.

This is a really well appointed motor lodge. The rooms are very good quality, equivalent to a 4 star plus in UK. In addition to a really comfortable bed with great bedding you get a spa bath and top quality bathroom AND a small kitchenette with fridge and microwave. As the lodge is situated next door to a good quality supermarket (New World) you can self cater with very little hassle.

There is a good flat screen TV with DVD player and bathrobes.
It is easy to locate on the main road into town and only a short drive from the shops and major attractions. If you are fit you could walk down to the excellent restaurants in town for an evening meal and not worry about having some of the great NZ wines available!

Good rooms, had a large spa bath, but shower head is of low quality. bed is comfortable, staff very nice, overall ok, but like of the the reviewers, i agree, while the room is very nice, there is no where to sit properly and have a meal or cup of tea with biscuits for example. the room i had, a studio with spa is large, but not very practical , yes, if you have 5 stars you need to put more thought into the practicality of actually staying in the unit. but overall, i enjoyed my stay at this motel. woud recommend to anyone.
